Create a Memorable and Fun Birthday Party for Your Kid with These 5 Activities

If you are throwing a birthday party for a kid soon, then you might be feeling overwhelmed. After all, you want to keep them safe while enabling them to have a whole lot of fun. That way the memories can last forever. So if you’re feeling the need for some inspiration, here are five ideas to consider today:

Bake a Cake

There is undoubtedly a birthday cake for the lucky kid whose birthday it is. However, the other kids might want to join in on the fun and feel creative and unique with their own cake they can make from scratch. Purchase a lot of little rings from your dollar store and help them make mini cakes that you can bake while they’re doing other activities for a delicious treat.

Video Game Room

Video games are not going away anytime soon. If you’re a parent who thinks it rots their brain like television, you’ll be happy to know it is much more interactive and proven to build specific areas of the brain instead. Therefore, they are learning and having a whole lot of fun at the same time. And if you don’t have the capacity to host a large video game room in your home, do know that there are plenty of “video game trucks” available for large groups of kids.

Face Painting

What little kid doesn’t love to get their face painted? They can go to different booths at your event which is manned by other parent volunteers. Give them the option between multiple characters, animals, and designs. Creativity and freedom is the key to this activity.

Nerf Guns

Nerf guns can be a great way to get the kids involved physically without running too much risk of someone getting hurt. The soft texture makes it bounce right off them, even if it hits a sensitive area. Plus, you can always pick up the nerfs after the game to save on having to buy all new ones. It will keep them entertained for a good while.

Bounce House

A bounce house is sure to get the kids excited. It includes all the things they love. They can jump, they can run, and they can play games with the other kids inside of it. The best part of it, they are guaranteed a safe landing.

Make a Reservation

Lots of child-friendly places will host birthday parties if you ask. Bowling alleys, movie theaters, zoos, aquariums, themed restaurants, and theme parks are all fun options that can create a birthday your child will never forget.
